Phoenix, eine Pitbullhündin aus Texas/USA, wurde von “Menschen” auf einen heißen Barbeque-Grill geröstet!!
Sie wurde in einem Straßengraben gefunden und der/die Täter wurde(n) niemals gefasst...
Trotzdem hat diese arme Hündin sich ihre Menschenfreundlichkeit bewahrt und wartet in den USA auf ein neues Zuhause...
Wieder einmal frage ich mich: Wer ist hier die Bestie???
Im Anschluß der Original-Vermittlungstext von der Midwest Rescue, für deren Genehmigung, diese Bilder zu veröffentlichen, ich mich bedanken möchte...

Hello, my name is Phoenix, and I'm very happy, and lucky to have you looking at me!
I am a very sweet girl who is now well enough to start looking for a home of my very own where I will be loved, safe and happy.
For reasons that I don't know, nor does anyone else, I look the way that I do in my pictures because some monstrous people put me on a barbeque grill for their own personal enjoyment. I have had lots of
great care, mixed with tremendous amounts of love and patience and am on the mend.

A good Samaritan found her on the side of the road, emaciated and to weak or sore to walk and carried her into Anderson. (We never did have any information to help us find out who did this to her.) I was not there, but was told she was wagging her tail. She was 28 pds. and now weights 47 pds. and looks great.
She is excellent with people of all ages. She is not a big jumper, but will put her front paws on your lap to be pet and close to you.
She has met several children and has behaved exceptionally. It seems the more people around her the happier she is.
We are rather certain she is not good with other dogs, or at least females.
